Roel Beetsma is Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Amsterdam and Member of the European Fiscal Board. He is also Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School and Research Fellow at CEPR. His research focuses on budgetary policy, public debt markets and the macroeconomics of pensions.
