Cristiana Benedetti Fasil was an Economist at the DG Joint Research Centre at the European Commission, as well as co-founder of Social Venture Africa, a non–profit organisation that promotes women’s empowerment and local economic development in Ghana. Her research interests included applied macroeconomics, economic growth, firm dynamics, and development economics. Cristiana received a PhD degree from the European University Institute.
